Memphis Police Director Toney Armstrong unveiled his plan to the city council on Tuesday that will redraw the boundaries of the city's nine police precincts.
 
Director Armstrong said his police force is a reactive department as many officers spend the bulk of their time responding to calls.

A City Watch has been issued for 16-year-old Denisha Vester of South Memphis who was last seen Monday afternoon.

She was last seen leaving a house near South Parkway and Bellevue.

Flu-like illnesses are striking hard at some Tennessee public schools.
