When you paused this Veterans Day to remember those who have served our country, many have returned home wounded, broken and in need of long term care.

To get that kind of care, many vets had to drive 96 miles to the nearest veterans care facility.

Police are using bloodhounds after a city watch alert was issued for 93-year-old L. P. Baker, Sr., of Memphis, who was last seen Nov. 8.

His fiance told police she and Baker got into a fight Thursday night and he took off on foot.

The victim was sighted in the Leroy and Wells Station area on Friday, Nov. 9

Ole Miss notes in its release that on Friday, Aug. 24, streaks of lotion and racial slurs were on Jamal Woods door at Stockard Hall, along with an Asian racial slur on another door.
