A group of nearly three dozen MLGW employees and vehicles from Memphis are traveling to Long Island in New York to help in reconnecting power to 650,000 residents in the wake of Superstorm Sandy.

The Interact Club at Hernando High School has put together the Bolt for Blue 5K, a 3.1-mile run Saturday morning, Nov. 3.

All of the money raised goes to help children with autism and their families.
