Game and Fish adds 17 wildlife officers

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission says it is putting 17 new wildlife officers into the field.

The agency said Wednesday that together the cadets completed more than 700 hours of training to get their badges.

Game and Fish says that the officers will be spread among 17 counties.

State expands hours for photo IDs for voters

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - The Department of Safety will open eight driver service centers Saturday to help voters who need photo identification cards before the Tuesday general election.

Centers will be open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Chattanooga, Cookeville, Dresden, Jackson, Johnson City, Knoxville, Memphis and Nashville. Services that day will be limited
