FBI seeks help in finding missing Colorado girl

WESTMINSTER, Colo. (AP) - Authorities have shifted their focus from searching for a missing 10-year-old girl to appealing for help in tracking down her apparent kidnapper, as concern mounts in a Denver suburb where the girl disappeared a week ago and a body was found.

JPMorgan turns in record profit, higher revenue

NEW YORK (AP) - JPMorgan Chase, the country's biggest bank, reported a record quarterly profit Friday, helped by a surge in mortgage refinancing. CEO Jamie Dimon said he believed the housing market "has turned a corner."

Ex-firefighter pleads guilty in fatal Conn. arson

HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) - A former volunteer firefighter in Connecticut pleaded guilty to setting a fatal 1986 fire and was sentenced to eight years and eight months in prison.

Peter Waraksa (wah-RAHK'-sah) pleaded guilty on Thursday to two counts of negligent homicide, arson and burglary.

Ten years of parole will follow the prison sentence.
