Audit finds poor tracking of Tenn. sex offenders

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - A recent audit of Tennessee's parole and probation system found officers failed to properly supervise sex offenders, sometimes allowing them access to children.

Man killed in hit and run

JACKSON, Miss. (AP) - Police say a man was killed in a hit and run accident in Jackson.

WLBT TV reports (http://bit.ly/ROp5Ii) the accident happened on U.S. Highway 80 around 2:45 a.m. Sunday

Hinds County Coroner Sharon Grisham Stewart says the unidentified man, in his mid-40's, died of blunt force trauma after being hit by a vehicle.
