TN appeals court hears challenge in photo ID law
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -

The Tennessee Court of Appeals will hear a challenge to the new photo identification law.

The court on Thursday set arguments in the case for Oct. 18, the day after early voting begins for the general election. The order says the case is being expedited because of the Nov. 6 election.

University of the Ozarks names new president

CLARKSVILLE, Ark. (AP) - The University of the Ozarks Board of Trustees has selected a new president.

The university announced in a Thursday news release that Millikin University in Illinois vice president of enrollment Richard Dunsworth will become the 25th president of the university in Clarksville.
