Dardanelle man convicted of killing his mother

CLARKSVILLE, Ark. (AP) - A Johnson County jury has convicted a Dardanelle man of first-degree murder in the beating death of his mother.

ETSU to dedicate new health center

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (AP) - East Tennessee State University is celebrating its new Johnson City Community Health Center.

Haslam to speak at auto conference in Chattanooga

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) - Gov. Bill Haslam is scheduled to deliver the keynote address at an automotive industry conference in Chattanooga.

Memphis police have offered a $10,000 reward to the identification and apprehension of two unidentified men who robbed, then shot, and killed a woman Tuesday evening as she was taking out cash from an eastside automated teller machine.
