T-Mobile USA set to merge with MetroPCS

BERLIN (AP) - Struggling cellphone companies T-Mobile USA and MetroPCS Communications are set to merge, in a deal that will create an operator with more than 40 million subscribers.

11 to join Tenn. Sports Hall of Fame in May

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - NBA standout Penny Hardaway and football all-pro Frank Wychek are among 11 sports figures to be inducted into the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame.

2 of the awards will be posthumous - Morristown athlete and later coach Ermal Allen and Nashville radio and TV sportscaster Bob Bell.

Grandfather of Aurora victim begs for photos back

DENVER (AP) - The grandfather of a 6-year-old girl killed during the Aurora theater shootings wants a thief to return the last photos of the girl, which were stolen from the home in a burglary.

Robert Sullivan, grandfather of Veronica Moser-Sullivan, says four cameras were stolen Tuesday, including one that had a memory card with photos of the girl.
